Welcome to our preview of Stage 2 of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women, taking place on Friday, 6 June 2025. This challenging 119.4 km stage from Hartlepool to Saltburn-by-the-Sea will test riders through the Tees Valley before concluding with the decisive climbs of the demanding coastal finish.

Course Structure:
87 km rolling loop around Middlesbrough
2 laps of demanding Redcar circuit (32.4 km total)

The opening 87 kilometers take riders on an undulating journey through the Tees Valley. Relatively straight forward roads, with plenty of villages to go through.
Same technical section as the start of Stockton National A circuit after neutralization. Off the main road, past the pub on the left then down a descent onto a narrow bridge. Caution required.

Straight after descent, climb from roundabout
Distance: 700m
Position: Directly after descent and roundabout
Saltburn Bank to the finish, approached after a fast descent that adds tactical complexity. Then 500meters to the finish line.
