“For the first time in my career, I actually understood what I was capable of and how to use it.”
Where they started
Racing UCI level with huge potential but struggling to realise it in racing and in training. Had worked hard from a young age but results weren't reflecting what was there. Life balance was off. Had been prescribed too much threshold work, which wasn't right for her physiology or where she was in her season.
What changed
Qdos worked with Katie to restore balance, keeping enough training at the right times to support her journey, while creating space for her to grow. Helped her understand her strengths (big engine, sustained efforts, bike handling, bunch racing) and her limiters, and what both meant for how she trains and races.
Where they are now
2025 was the breakthrough season in terms of physiology, but bad luck in racing meant it never truly showed. It was therefore no surprise she Won her first national round (East Cleveland Classic) in 2026.
In their words
“I was putting the work in to training but nothing was clicking in terms of results. Working with Qdos helped me understand my own physiology and what training actually suited me and how to use my strengths in races. I also found a way to balance training with life to get the best performances out.
“There's a lot more to it than training sessions and numbers, the support around everything that contributes to making me perform is something I never found anywhere else.
